🚓 Ashby Beat Team – Woodstone Primary School Patrol Update

This afternoon, officers from the Ashby Beat Team carried out a patrol around Woodstone Primary School, with a particular focus on Millers Walk, following recent concerns raised by local residents.

The concerns we have received relate to:
•    Vehicles blocking or partially blocking driveways
•    Cars parking on the pavement, making it difficult for pedestrians — including those with prams, mobility scooters, wheelchairs and walking aids — to pass safely
•    General congestion during school drop off and pick up times

We are pleased to report that no issues were identified during today’s patrol. Parking was responsible, considerate, and allowed safe access for both residents and pedestrians. Whether this was due to our presence or simply good practice, we want to thank everyone who parked safely today.

As always, we kindly ask parents and carers to continue parking considerately and safely during future school runs. Please:
•    Keep pavements clear for pedestrians
•    Avoid blocking driveways or restricting access
•    Be mindful of the residents who live on these streets every day
